ADELAIDE FESTIVAL | MARCH 1 – 17 

The Adelaide Festival is gearing up for another exciting year, kicking off this Friday, March 1. 

The 39th edition of the festival promises a rich tapestry of events, with 64 scheduled events, including 16 world premieres, 12 Australian premieres, and 23 exclusives. 

The festival, renowned for its commitment to artistic excellence, will showcase a blend of international and local talents. Notable international stars such as Robert Lepage, Laurie Andersen, and Angélique Kidjo will grace the festival, while emerging talents like Mario Banushi and Thomas Weatherall will make their debut.

FESTIVAL COMMUNITY | FEB 29 – MARCH 17 

Festival Community is a place for artists and lovers of the arts alike to come together for delicious food, refreshing drinks, atmospheric music and sprawling conversations around the arts experiences on offer during Adelaide’s ‘Mad March’.

BEACHPORT CRAYFISH FESTIVAL | MARCH 2 

The charming town of Beachport is gearing up to host the second edition of the Beachport Crayfish Festival. This vibrant celebration of coastal wonders promises visitors an extraordinary day filled with great food, family-friendly festivities, and a showcase of the region’s unique offerings. 

Organised by the community for the community, this festival not only highlights the region’s produce and dishes but also pays tribute to the hardworking crayfishers who contribute to Beachport’s rich heritage. 

With events like the ‘deckie’ competition and the Cray Pot Build Race, attendees will witness firsthand the skills and camaraderie that define the local industry.
