It nearly is that time of the year again, Adelaide! The 2023 Adelaide Fringe Festival is just about ready to kick off, and to turn the excitement up a few notches the Fringe Festival will see a new edition in 2023 – The Pyramid!
Standing at a whopping 15m (6 storeys) high, and 25m wide, it will be impossible to miss. The Pyramid will be smack bang in the heart of the city, sitting in Victoria Square/Tarndanyanga. Playing host to many big acts and artists, The Pyramid will be big enough to seat 350 people.
After what has been an extremely trying time in the arts and entertainment industry, the sector arguably taking the biggest hit during covid, it is a very exciting time and the perfect way to bounce back with a bang!
Director Max Mason on the arrival of The Pyramid: “Fringe deserves a new star attraction, after recovering better than any other festival worldwide from Covid. The Pyramid will bring a new dynamic, with a jam-packed line-up of more than 20 different shows across the whole Fringe calendar, from February 14 until March 19.”
The Pyramid will be located inside the new Fringe Village Fool’s Paradise. The full Pyramid Adelaide Fringe Program goes on sale at 9am December 2nd 2022.
