JoJo Siwa has spoken out after ‘dumping’ Aussie actor Kath Ebbs following her flirty on-screen relationship with Love Island star Chris Hughes on Celebrity Big Brother UK.
Siwa faced online criticism as fans observed her unusually close relationship with Hughes, even though her partner, Kath Ebbs, was waiting for her outside.

After the grand finale of the show, Ebbs posted a TikTok video sharing that Siwa ‘dumped’ her while at the after party, with Chris Hughes in the next room, sending the internet into a spiral.

Well, JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes have finally broken their silence on the rumours around their relationship in a new interview with This Morning UK, clarifying that while they are soulmates, their relationship is purely platonic.
“It’s just a really strong bond between two people, which is just a strong friendship. And I think you can have like a soulmate friendship. Having someone in there to go through an experience like that and have someone there every day when you’re emotional when you’re down when you’re happy — that was beautiful.” Chris said.

When JoJo was asked about a future between the pair, she said “I don’t know any future of anything. But I’m really grateful for our dynamic that we have and our bond that we have. And whatever life does, life will do.”
In the interview, JoJo also addressed her controversial breakup with Ebbs, saying “That was not an intention, that was not supposed to happen like that.”
“Initially, I was told that the wrap party was something they didn’t want to attend and then about an hour into the wrap party they decided they wanted to. And so I was genuinely just going to have a conversation before and then it just led to another.”
JoJo revealed that during the chat, Kath asked whether she was happy in the relationship, to which Siwa responded that she wasn’t.
“One thing led to another,” she said, “and that conversation did take place there.”
