It came as a shock to us all when we weren’t going to be seeing Cameron Diaz on the big screen ever again!
Diaz’s last film was Annie eight years ago when she later revealed that she was wrapping up her acting career.
She explained to CBS News that “When you’re doing something that you know and you’ve done well and you know how it works—and it’s consumed your whole life for so long—it’s kind of a nice thing to kind of go, ‘You know what? Let me just step back for a second, take a look at what the whole picture looks like for me, and what are the things that I could do better and be more engaged with that would make me feel more whole?’” Cameron told CBS News. “And I did that.”
Eight years down the track and the Hollywood actress is returning to our screens for Back In Action on Netflix, starring alongside Jamie Foxx.
The movie is set to start filming late this year and expected to release sometime late 2023 or 2024.
